Job Overview

The Control Room Operator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

  • The primary responsibilities include managing and coordinating SCADA and VIBES information, as well as addressing incidents and implementing corrective actions.

  • They will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance Team to resolve reactive and proactive incidents/maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

This position requires excellent communication skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, one must possess:

  • Strong proficiency in control systems, including PC-based systems.

  • Technical knowledge of BHS systems and their associated processes.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to read and interpret technical documentation, including layout drawings.

  • Fluency in English language reading and comprehension.

  • Ability to maintain a clear focus in high-pressure situations.
