Ecommerce Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall operations of our ecommerce fulfillment center.

As an Ecommerce Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all aspects of our ecommerce operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing the daily activities of warehouse staff, overseeing inventory management, and coordinating logistics with suppliers and transport companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and coaching to warehouse staff
  • Plan work to optimize the use of available resources
  • Contribute to the development of warehouse operating procedures and process improvement activities
  • Ensure all day-to-day operations are managed to achieve seamless fulfillment of online orders within budget and on time

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in FMCG, high volume, fast moving and complex warehousing & logistics background
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business/Engineering/Science or any other relevant degrees
  • Extensive experience across distribution, warehouse and transport operations with strategic focus
  • Ability to plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management and development to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse layout design and workflows optimization
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading teams in a warehousing environment
  • Solid understanding of WH&S requirements and CoR for road transport
  • Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Words and Excel) and hands-on experience working with modern warehouse management systems (e.g., NetSuite WMS)
