The eCommerce Manager supports The Oodie by leading the eCommerce team to produce a world-class online experience for customers that directly leads to profitable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  1. Lead digital marketing (eCommerce) initiatives that personalise and optimise the customer journey to increase engagement and sales
  2. Create and set the on-site marketing strategies for all major campaign launches to maximise conversion
  3. Set OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) that align cross-functional teams with eCommerce sales targets
  4. Identify emerging trends and track consumer behaviour including online shopping trends to inform marketing strategies and promotional initiatives
  5. Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarking (site UX, offers, tech stack) to ensure campaigns remain competitive and effective
  6. Review new technologies and identify opportunities to improve eCommerce experience (Shopify updates, privacy changes, performance UX)
  7. Collaborate with Creative and Brand teams to define content strategy and storytelling themes, ensuring campaign assets are effectively presented on the website.
  8. Liaise with Merch Planning, Product & Marketing to ensure marketing calendar and new product timelines are met and launches are optimized (merchandising, bundling, functionality)
  9. Oversee and prioritise all incoming eCommerce feature requests to ensure marketing priorities are delivered effectively
  10. Oversee the eCommerce platform supports marketing campaigns and provides a reliable, seamless experience for customers
  11. Manage all digital datafeeds to optimise product marketing
  12. Oversee and manage the Oodie App strategy with the CRM Manager
  13. Ensure new products and content are uploaded to the site in a correct and timely manner to align with marketing objectives
  14. Manage daily execution of digital marketing activities across global Oodie websites
  15. Manage external developer resources and internal eCommerce Coordinator & CRO expert including themes, discounts, products, analytics, order issues, etc.
  16. Oversee technical decisions that impact the Oodie website and customer experience
  17. Responsible for identifying and resolving any web errors raised by our CS team that are impacting a customers experience during and outside of work hours including weekends
  18. Ensuring eCommerce/marketing website activities comply with consumer, privacy, and advertising regulations
  19. Ensuring website remains operational for successful delivery of campaigns
  20. Driving sales performance by optimizing digital marketing campaigns and website content to increase conversion
  21. Support marketing performance tracking by monitoring key sales and engagement indicators

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has several years in eCommerce, digital marketing or online retail operations
  • Is familiar with platforms like Shopify or Magento
  • Has experience optimizing product pages, checkout flows, and implementing A/B testing
  • Is proficient in Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, attribution models, and understanding customer metrics (AOV, LTV, CAC)
  • Has knowledge of product catalogue management, pricing strategies, and promotions
  • Is skilled in managing stakeholders at all levels, with clear and proactive communication
  • Has awareness of eCommerce trends, consumer behaviour, mobile-first UX
  • Global Market experience with websites outside of Australia and New Zealand and a good understanding of USA and UK markets
