Job Title: Education Support Officers

Job Description:

We are seeking individuals to join our team of learning assistants. The role involves working with classroom teachers to meet the needs of students, preparing and organizing teaching tools, and reinforcing positive behaviors.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work cooperatively with a range of people, including teachers, learning assistants, students, and parents. A commitment to professional learning and growth is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with classroom teachers to meet the needs of students
  • Prepare and organize teaching tools
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and practices
  • Keep appropriate records of programs implemented
  • Observe students' progress, note achievements and challenges, and share observations with class teachers
  • Assist teachers and leaders in the smooth running of special programs or activities
  • Relieve office staff at break times

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Capacity to undertake routine support tasks across a range of functions in one or more work areas within a school environment
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with members of the school community
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems, software, or technical equipment as relevant to the position
