About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Officer to join our team at Thiess. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the achievement of our community, diversity, and inclusion objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase participation, retention, and development of Aboriginal, female, and employees from diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct regular contact and provide culturally appropriate mentorship to Aboriginal and female employees to promote personal and career growth potential.
  • Collaborate with community to enable cultural protocols and maintain operational requirements.
  • Support the implementation of the Local Participation and Aboriginal Engagement Management Plan and CDI related programs.
  • Facilitate and promote safety standards and behaviors consistent with Our HSE Culture Framework.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in social sciences, humanities, communications, human resources, or business. You should have a proven ability to deliver on engagement and retention of under-represented groups in the workforce. Additionally, you should have demonstrated ability to build and maintain networks and engagement with Aboriginal communities.
