Job Title: Business Development Underwriter

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Underwriter to join our team at REO Group. As a Business Development Underwriter, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the NSW and ACT region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with brokers and clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Grow the company's policy count by identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize technology to manage your desk and stay organized.
  • Perform administrative duties, including regular CRM updating and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development and underwriting, preferably in the commercial insurance sector.
  • Strong relationships and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and brokers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex insurance concepts to clients and brokers.
  • Ability to travel, including interstate, to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products, including cyber risk management.
