Senior Associate Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Associate to join our Government Advisory team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to work with a high-performing team of lawyers, undertaking merits review for a Commonwealth Government agency.

  • Finalize litigation strategies and statements of issues
  • Conduct directions hearings and case conferences
  • Manage substantive hearings
  • Solicitor advocacy at hearings and finalize briefs to Counsel
  • Undertake complex statutory interpretation

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • At least 5+ years post-qualification experience, ideally with experience in government advisory work and litigation
  • Strong solicitor advocacy experience and expertise
  • Experience mentoring team members with excellent communication skills and a collegiate approach
