Our company is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join our energy team and support the bid and project delivery of New Energy projects nationally. This is an excellent opportunity with a chance to visit all project sites.

The role will be responsible for supporting environmental planning by developing and implementing management plans, procedures, and tools aligned with company systems. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting environmental planning and implementation
  • Overseeing daily environmental tasks based on project risk levels
  • Providing technical advice and assisting with securing environmental approvals during bids and project phases
  • Promoting environmental awareness and building capability across project teams
  • Coordinating monitoring and reporting, including sustainability metrics, site inspections, and incident investigations

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction or renewable energy sectors
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and approval processes
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

A tertiary qualification in Environmental Management or a related discipline is essential for this role. Additionally, you must have at least 3 years of experience in the construction or renewable energy sectors. Strong understanding of environmental legislation and approval processes is also required.
