Principal & Senior Biodiversity Planner Role

This role presents an opportunity to lead complex environmental and biodiversity planning projects. As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, managing project teams, developing team capabilities, and contributing to strategy and policy development.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide specialist advice on environmental and biodiversity planning projects, ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
  • Project Management: Manage project teams, including external consultants, to achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and continuous improvement.
  • Strategy and Policy: Contribute to the development of organisational strategies and policies related to environmental and biodiversity planning.

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications, experience in biodiversity or environmental planning, project management, and strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and managing time-critical environments.

Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualification.

  • Strong project management and risk assessment skills.
