About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Remedial Design Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and repairing remedial and structural building defects in residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend client meetings, site investigations and diagnosis of building defects;
  • Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant design standards and codes;
  • Prepare detailed project plans, including budgets, time forecasts and resource planning;
  • Manage projects on-site and inspect remedial works;
  • Provide a comprehensive remedial design service to clients;

About You:

We are looking for a self-motivated, technically strong and competent individual able to work independently and also lead and direct a group of engineers and drafters.

You should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, minimum 5 years' post-graduate remedial engineering consultancy experience and Chartered status.

Other Requirements:

  • Experience with the Strata and residential industry or working on construction projects;
  • Able to build and maintain effective client relationships; and
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

What We Offer:

Monthly accrued days off and a hybrid model of Monday, Thursday and Friday in the office with the flexibility to work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
