Senior Duty Manager Role at Novotel Brisbane South Bank

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Senior Duty Manager at Novotel Brisbane South Bank. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Front Office operations, including reception, guest relations, reservations, and telephones during shifts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the seamless operation of the hotel, maintaining our high standards of service delivery.
  • Drive the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue per available room (RPS), net promoter score (NPS), loyalty, and room upselling.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the night audit function in coordination with the Financial Controller, ensuring accuracy while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise the handling of VIPs and special guests, ensuring their needs are met and loyalty is upheld.

About You:

  • You will need to demonstrate extensive Hotel Front Office experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Critical thinking abilities and a guest-centric approach to creating memorable guest experiences.
  • A deep understanding of Brisbane, especially South Brisbane, with the ability to recommend attractions and activities.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
