About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Change Management Specialist to join our team at Tyro Payments Limited. As a Junior Change Management Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Team Lead on larger programs of change and driving smaller change programs required to deliver operational and growth-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning: Work closely with the Team Lead or Senior Specialist and various stakeholder departments to gather information to finalize the project brief, including success metrics and mapping of current and future processes and customer experience. Provide constant updates throughout project delivery.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build strong relationships and effectively communicate the rationale, benefits, and impact of operational changes. Develop and deliver clear, concise, and compelling customer and staff communication materials, including emails, presentations, timelines, briefings, and FAQs.

  • Change Impact Assessment & Readiness: Using the Change Impact Assessment, work closely with project teams and growth teams to assess the impact of change on the growth department. Create change management plans for the initiatives you lead.

  • Change Execution & Support: Support leaders on change management activities and drive elements of the change program. This could include running workshops, coaching sessions, and user acceptance testing. Ensure documentation is up to date, including Monday boards, growth readiness framework, and meeting minutes.

  • Continuous Improvement & Evaluation: Collect and analyze data and feedback to measure the success of change initiatives as outlined at the beginning of the project. Track KPIs and ensure activities are in place to reinforce change if and when required. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance change management processes and tools.

Requirements
  • 3 years of previous change management experience in a fast-paced Agile environment.

  • Passion for change management or operations, preferably in a dynamic business environment with customer service and/or sales teams.

  • Demonstrated influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage stakeholders, and guide teams through operational changes.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and engage diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess the impact of change, anticipate risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace new technologies, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and balance the needs of our staff, our customers, and our business.

  • Thrives in working in ambiguous environments and bringing structure to the chaos.
