This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the accessibility space.
We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in accessibility programs, stakeholder engagement, and driving initiatives that embed best-practice accessibility across an organisation.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project coordination or management, with the ability to lead a range of commitments and associated accessibility programs.
They will also possess excellent communication and education skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to suit different audiences.
Additionally, they should have knowledge of accessibility standards and best practice, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and its application in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of accessibility initiatives, embedding outcomes across the business and aligning with stakeholder needs.
- Lead internal accessibility programs and support upcoming accreditation initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
- Drive engagement and consultation with internal teams and external stakeholders, including advocacy groups, to inform accessibility initiatives.
- Oversee contracts and partnerships with external accessibility service providers to ensure effective delivery and alignment with accessibility objectives.
- Support accessibility initiatives which enhance passenger experience and remove barriers.
- Guide accessibility compliance and best practice, supporting business planning and reporting as required.
About You
You are someone with a passion for accessibility, motivated to improve access to public transport.
You should have experience in project coordination or management, with a strong background in accessibility programs, stakeholder engagement, and driving initiatives.
Your skills include excellent communication and education abilities, with the capacity to adapt messaging to suit different audiences.
Additionally, you should have knowledge of accessibility standards and best practice, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and its application in the workplace.
