Community Access Liaison Opportunity

Make a difference in the lives of families and communities by providing access to essential services.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with vulnerable populations, promoting equal opportunities and social inclusion.

As a Community Access Liaison, you will be the primary point of contact for families and community members, offering targeted information and support related to early years services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting access to services and programs for families and community members.
  • Participating in the promotion of service access and engagement initiatives.
  • Providing referrals for families to suitable programs and services.
  • Supporting client information management and business processes that enhance communication, access, and referral for families and the community.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Certificate III in Office Administration or similar qualification, or equivalent 5 years' administrative/business experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kindergarten, Maternal and Child Health, and Early Years Services.
  • Experience working in local government or a similar environment.
  • Advanced computer skills in diverse Microsoft Office applications, internet, and email systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Current Police Records Check and Working with Children Check Card.
