Job Description

The Technical Director is responsible for providing high-end technical and event expertise, serving as a resource for the entire event production process from inception through to delivery. This includes supervision of technicians in the installation, operation, and removal of audio-visual equipment required for events of any size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop event objectives, reviewing and developing event proposals in coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Determine event specifications, creating event designs based on customer requirements while ensuring cost estimates remain within budget parameters.
  • Develop and maintain event schedules within specifications, estimating labor, equipment, and transport requirements.
  • Attend client meetings and briefings as required.
  • Manage the financial integrity of events.
  • Provide technical advice to the sales department and assist with cost estimates as necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in corporate events.
  • Customer-centric and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
