Job Title: Production Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for delivering quality training outcomes.

This is a contract position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be working on an 8/6 roster, commencing on approximately 3-6 months with the potential to extend.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organising and delivering training to new production starters to ensure they are adequately prepared for their roles.
  • Developing and implementing training programs to promote a safety-first culture through hands-on approaches to training and assessing production operators across various plant and equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Trainer & Assessor in the production mining industry.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

The Day-to-Day Duties of this Role Include:

  • Delivering site onboarding training (Inductions / Temporary Work Permits) to ensure all employees are fully aware of their responsibilities and duties.
  • Undertaking VOC's on-site equipment and high risk activities (light vehicles, ancillary equipment, work at heights, etc.).
  • Maintaining the company learning management system including the records storage and running of training deficit reports.
  • Booking of offsite training through preferred vendors.

Essential Qualifications:

Cert IV in Training and Assessment

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of INX

Holds High Risk Work Licenses

Accredited Worksafe High Risk Work License Assessor
