Job Overview

This is an opportunity to leverage your investment governance expertise and drive strategic growth within our organisation.

You will play a pivotal role in managing the governance process and key supporting artefacts for internal investment strategies, ensuring alignment with our overall Investments Governance Framework and Investment Strategy Policy.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and implement effective internal investment mandates and strategy statements, working closely with internal teams to set up operational aspects of the strategy.
  2. Develop and manage processes for creating, reviewing, and managing internal investment mandates and investment strategy statements in accordance with the Investment Strategy Policy.
  3. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure mandates are effectively executed, monitored, and reviewed.
  4. Act as the primary liaison for internal teams and stakeholders on mandate governance, working closely with fund operations, compliance, legal, and risk teams to meet regulatory standards.
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports for internal investment strategies, including compliance with legislation and internal governance frameworks and processes.
  6. Promote governance principles in the management of internal investment strategies.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in investment governance, portfolio management, or related fields, with a focus on investment mandates and internally managed funds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in regulated environments with a solid understanding of investment governance frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, asset classes, portfolio construction, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across teams.
