About the Role

Hawthorn-Melbourne is a leading provider of English language courses for international students. We offer a range of programs to cater to the diverse needs of our students, including General English, Academic English, and IELTS Preparation. As a teacher at Hawthorn-Melbourne, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, working with a team of experienced educators to deliver high-quality instruction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English language classes to international students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum of a first degree and a recognized TESOL teaching qualification
  • Experience in teaching English as a second language
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Skills

  • Postgraduate qualifications in TESOL
  • Experience with online learning platforms
  • Strong MS Office skills
