**Job Title:** Information Governance Professional**Overview:

The Attorney-General's Department is seeking an experienced Information Governance Officer to join their team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in information management, data analysis, and policy advice.

**Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and advice to the Information Governance team and customers on system administration, data analysis, and policy advice;
  • Assist in the delivery of key initiatives impacting whole of government information management practices covering Information Management, Freedom of Information, and Privacy;
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective information governance practices are implemented across the organisation;
  • Analyse data to inform business decisions and identify areas for improvement;
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
**Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., information management, law, computer science);
  • Proven experience in information governance, data analysis, and policy advice;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., freedom of information, privacy).
