Role Overview

This entry-level position supports the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare (MMEW) program as a Configuration and Data Management Specialist.

The successful candidate will join an experienced delivery team responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting complex hardware and software solutions for the Australian Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project configuration and data management plans and processes aligned with ASDEFCON requirements.
  • Manage project-related tools, information systems, and bills of materials.
  • Maintain design data, technical baselines, engineering changes, and approved configurations.
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and track outputs and changes.
  • Participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
  • Capture Configuration Status Account Information (CSA).
  • Ensure data integrity via regular audits.
  • Implement necessary controls for security, export control, and intellectual property of technical data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with configuration management in ASDEFCON environments.
  • Understanding of industry configuration management standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to colleagues.

A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is essential.

About the Position:

The role reports directly to the Program Manager and requires eligibility for an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
