Health, Safety and Wellbeing Professional
In this key role you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to community wellbeing by leading and developing health, safety and wellbeing initiatives. The position offers a range of benefits including strong emphasis on career development, access to internal advancement opportunities, flexible working arrangements and collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications and experience in occupational health and safety or a related field such as risk management. They will be able to engage with stakeholders, implement effective OHS management systems and manage areas such as injury management and workers compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health, safety and wellbeing strategies
- Manage and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct workplace audits and inspections to identify hazards and risks
- Provide training and education to employees on health and safety issues
- Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field
- Relevant experience in occupational health and safety or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective health, safety and wellbeing strategies
