The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our Operations team in Moorabbin. You will play a vital role in driving the Safety and Wellbeing Framework and Strategic Plan into Rheem, Moorabbin.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your passion and energy for Work Health and Safety will help you lead and coordinate projects and initiatives including operational safety innovation, risk management and employee wellbeing programs.

You will also collaborate with the Group Safety and Wellbeing Manager to promote and support our 'Safe & Well Every Day at Rheem' vision. By consulting and engaging with managers and employees, you will strengthen and build their safety and wellbeing capability through coaching, provision of information, support, and training.

This role is initially being offered on a fixed-term basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

We are also open to considering either full-time or part-time hours (minimum 28 hours per week), depending on the successful candidate's experience and preference.

About You

Previous experience as a WHS Advisor role or recently graduated with some experienceFormal qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety, or working towardsReturn to Work Coordinator training – highly desirableAbility to work across various departments and stakeholdersExperience in manufacturing, logistics or high-risk environmentKnowledge of State WHS and regulations and codes of practiceA strong communications track record both written and verbalExperience with management systems including cloud-based platformsExperience with internal or external safety auditing – desirableA high level of self-motivation, time management and organisational abilityAn energetic go-getter that is pragmatic and determined whilst being respectfully open and considerate to new approaches and the opinions of others.
