We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Executive Governance Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies that drive organizational success.
Salary and Benefits
This full-time position comes with a competitive gross annual salary of $104,815 to $112,311, plus additional benefits that include:
- 11.5% superannuation with optional co-contribution up to 5%
- A comprehensive health and wellbeing program featuring physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, skin cancer checks, mental health programs, and Employee Assistance Provider services
- Flexible working arrangements, including rostered days off and two additional paid days of absence per annum

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a dedicated team in coordinating agendas, minutes, statutory compliance, civic functions, and key documentation, including policy and local laws. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and effectively managing a small team
- Interpreting legislation and developing informed recommendations
- Conducting thorough research and analysis to inform decision-making
- Producing high-quality reports and briefings tailored to meet the needs of busy stakeholders
- Maintaining strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

- Strong understanding of council decision-making processes and procedures
