Electrical Systems Installation Specialist

As an Electrical Systems Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and commissioning electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

  • Ensuring all electrical installations meet codes, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults using appropriate test equipment.
  • Connecting systems to circuit breakers, transformers, and control equipment.
  • Inspecting electrical installations for compliance with codes, standards, and safety.
  • Advising on potential hazards or system issues.
  • Performing continuity and insulation resistance testing.
  • Documenting all electrical work completed and submitting it to the site supervisor.
  • Participating in quality assurance processes (ITPs, ITRs).
  • Developing and implementing Safe Work Method Statements.

Requirements:

  • Current A-Class Electrical Licence (valid in your home state)
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • LV Rescue & Resuscitation Certificate (completed within the past 12 months)
  • Construction White Card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
