Software Support Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Software Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Macquarie Park, NSW.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a software professional to work on complex software issues and provide solutions to customers.
  • You will be responsible for investigating and resolving technical problems, documenting activities and findings, and collaborating with other support centers and departments.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in Application Support within a top-tier organization, supporting mainstream software applications, with knowledge of software architecture and SDLC.

About the Role:

  1. Investigate and resolve complex software issues, proposing workarounds for customers.
  2. Document activities and findings accurately and promptly in the case management system.
  3. Contribute to digital self-help materials to enable faster problem resolution and build internal knowledge sharing.
  4. Collaborate with other support centers and departments.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Application Support within a top-tier organization, supporting mainstream software applications.
  • Knowledge of software architecture and SDLC.
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Good understanding of software and hardware communications and setup.
