Insurance Product Development Specialist
">This role is a key part of the team responsible for shaping the work that powers our company's success.
">We make insurance easy by connecting businesses with the right products - quickly and online. Our Product Team works closely with insurer partners to optimize, maintain, and evolve what we offer.
">About the Role:
">We're looking for an experienced professional to join our Product Team and help evolve our insurance products offered on our platform. As an Insurance Product Development Specialist, you will work closely with internal teams to assess commercial viability and translate change requests into clear, actionable stories.
">Key responsibilities include analysing change requests, working with senior BA and product managers to assess technical and commercial fit, and collaborating with developers, QA, and technical BAs to ensure delivery clarity.
">Other responsibilities include validating completed work before it heads to QA, maintaining documentation in document management tools, partnering with underwriters and insurer teams to clarify pricing and product changes, and supporting Agile ceremonies.
">What We're Looking For:
">2-3 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a product-heavy environment such as fintech or insurance. Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and writing testable user stories. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence, document management experience a plus.
">A detail-oriented analytical mindset with great communication skills, ability to balance commercial priorities with technical feasibility, and proficiency in Sydney-based operations.
