This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role driving large-scale cyber uplift initiatives across IT and OT environments in a critical infrastructure setting.

As the strategic proxy for the CISO, you will guide and oversee cyber maturity uplift. You will drive alignment with NIST CSF 2.0 and the Australian Essential Eight.

You will lead maturity assessments, reporting, and governance for executive and board visibility. You will influence stakeholders, vendors, and government agencies at the highest level.

You will work at the intersection of governance, assurance, and transformation.

About the role:

  • 10+ years' cyber security leadership experience across governance, strategy, or assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of Essential Eight, NIST CSF, SOCI Act, and OT security environments.
  • Credentials such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent.
  • A proven ability to provide executive-level reporting and strategic oversight.
  • Confidence and courage to challenge, influence, and represent the CISO's intent.
