About Sustainability Assurance Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Assurance Manager to lead our team in developing and implementing sustainability assurance methodologies.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of assurance in a rapidly evolving field, while supporting practitioners across the audit practice with your expertise.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain sustainability assurance methodologies aligned with Australian Standards on Sustainability Assurance Engagements (ASSA).
  • Provide technical guidance on complex sustainability assurance engagements.
  • Collaborate with audit teams to ensure effective application of assurance methodologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sustainability assurance specialists.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and integrate them into methodology and practice.
  • Support technical learning through designing and delivering relevant programs.
  • Engage in thought leadership projects and contribute to responses to regulatory consultations.
  • Participate in special assignments, cross-functional initiatives, and other technical projects as required.
Requirements
  • A Graduate degree in Accounting, Economics or Business majoring in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • CA Qualified (or equivalent).
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and skills, including applied knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing and/or reviewing sustainability assurance engagements.
  • Broad range of client experience across various industries.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing people and technical deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical matters for diverse audiences.
