Senior Development Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Development Manager to lead the planning, delivery and financial performance of multiple projects in our portfolio.

The successful candidate will work across the entire project lifecycle from feasibility and approvals through to construction, sales, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project lifecycle from acquisition feasibility to delivery including design, approvals, procurement, construction, sales, marketing and handover;
  • Partner with leadership to prepare Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service strategies and oversee their implementation;
  • Drive feasibility modelling, financial forecasting, and project returns analysis;
  • Manage budgets and ensure projects achieve financial KPIs;
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, consultants, and approval authorities;
  • Oversee quality compliance permits and performance monitoring;
  • Provide leadership to internal and external project teams;
  • Report regularly to management on project progress risks and financial performance.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field;
  • Extensive experience in residential land lease or MPC developments;
  • Strong skills in feasibility project finance budget management and cost control;
  • Proven track record in regulatory approvals and stakeholder management;
  • Experience formulating Sales Marketing and Customer Service strategies tied to development delivery;
  • Excellent leadership decision-making problem-solving and communication skills;
  • End-to-end project experience across development construction sales and customer service;
  • Relentless attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
