Job Title: Operations Supervisor

This role involves leading a team responsible for the execution of shipping and distribution of parts across the country to customers.

The incumbent will oversee order fulfillment, inventory control procedures, and implement warehouse service standards aligned with organizational guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising assigned team members, including performance reviews, development, attendance documentation, payroll submission, and corrective action issuance.
  • Supporting inventory control processes, such as cycle counting, for packaging materials, ingredients, and finished products.
  • Implementing warehouse procedures and service standards consistent with organizational requirements.
  • Maintaining, refining, or suggesting improvements within the area to meet customer demands, including deadlines and quality standards.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing performance measurements and auditing processes to evaluate operations efficiency and quality.
  • Ensuring accurate receipt and shipment tracking in the ERP system.
  • Ensuring items shipped are properly packaged to prevent damage.
  • Managing packaging material inventory levels to support business needs and prevent work stoppages.
  • Overseeing shipment and delivery coordination.
  • Effectively utilizing software to create shipping labels and schedule pickups.
  • Supervising parts preparation, material handling, measuring, and packaging equipment operation.
  • Maintaining contact with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of materials and processes.
  • Supporting sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order shipment.
  • Training team members on basic and advanced warehouse vehicle operation (pallet jack, forklift).
  • Evaluating the cost and performance of current and alternative warehouse procedures and service standards.
