Environmental Stewardship Specialist

Limestone Coast Landscape Board is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing extension services to the agricultural sector, focusing on climate-smart practices and market facilitation.
This position is part of the LC Landscape Board's efforts to deliver sustainable outcomes for the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement workshops, events, and activities to promote sustainable farming practices.
- Foster partnerships with farmers, land managers, agri-business, and industry bodies to achieve Australian Government objectives.
- Collaborate with the Sustainable Landscapes team to deliver on the board's priorities.
- A minimum class C driver's license and willingness to drive are required.
- Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Participation in fire management or associated duties may be required.
- Some out-of-hours work and intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home may be necessary.
