**Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator Role**

We're seeking a skilled professional to provide extension services to the agricultural sector, promoting climate-smart practices and facilitating the understanding of carbon and biodiversity markets.

This role is part of the Australian Government's Natural Heritage Trust initiative and involves working closely with the Sustainable Landscapes team to deliver on the LC Landscape Board's priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to farmers, land managers, and other stakeholders on sustainable agriculture practices.
  • Develop and implement workshops, events, and activities that promote sustainable farming outcomes.
  • Collaborate with industry bodies and agencies to achieve Australian Government objectives for sustainable agriculture and natural resource management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in extension services, sustainable agriculture, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

This is a full-time position until 30 June 2028. The remuneration package includes an ASO5 salary range of $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
