Position Overview:

We are looking for dedicated and knowledgeable Travel Consultants who are eager to advance their careers in the travel industry. If you have a strong personal travel background and a desire to assist clients in crafting memorable journeys, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients to ascertain their travel desires, preferences, and financial considerations.
  • Custom Itinerary Development: Design tailored travel plans that encompass flights, lodging, excursions, and activities.
  • Reservation Management: Handle bookings for flights, accommodations, cruises, car rentals, and additional travel services.
  • Destination Expertise: Remain informed about travel trends, visa stipulations, and safety guidelines for various locations.
  • Exceptional Customer Support: Deliver outstanding service throughout the travel planning journey and during clients' travels.
  • Sales Initiatives: Market travel packages and exclusive offers.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Capable of active listening, clear communication, and fostering robust client relationships.
  • GDS Proficiency: Experience with Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo is essential.
  • Detail-Oriented: Highly organized and meticulous in arranging travel plans.
  • Industry Acumen: Knowledgeable about travel booking systems, airline regulations, and hotel options.
  • Sales Skills: Comfortable employing sales techniques to enhance travel service offerings.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the field; more experience is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Standard workweek: Monday to Friday
  • Flexible work environment - Hybrid model
  • No weekend commitments
  • Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience) plus benefits and performance incentives
