About the Role:
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our laundry services team, you will ensure that all resident clothing and linen is processed and returned in a timely and efficient manner.
You will be responsible for collecting, washing, folding, ironing, labelling, and returning resident's personal clothing on a daily basis.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with infection control and WHS requirements are essential.
If you have the ability to safely engage in manual labour tasks and heavy lifting when required, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, wash, fold, iron, label, and return resident's personal clothing on a daily basis
- Maintain high standards of personal and operational hygiene at all times
- Identify and report any equipment/operational failure issues
- Ensure all activities performed are in accordance with infection control and WHS requirements
