About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Horticulture Team Leader to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance staff in ensuring the highest standards of garden maintenance are met and exceeded.

This is a full-time position offering 38 hours per week, spread across Tuesday to Friday. As a Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients to understand their preferences and address their concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Garden Maintenance: Follow schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Client Communication: Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.
  • Quality Control: Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
