We are seeking an experienced Philanthropic Grants Coordinator to join our team in a part-time permanent role. This position will play a crucial role in securing vital funding to support our mission of ending cruelty to all animals.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a hybrid environment, with 3 days per week. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for:

  • Grant Acquisition: Identifying funding opportunities, researching and writing compelling grant proposals, and securing funding to support our programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding and support.
  • Business Development: Contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to grow philanthropic income.
  • Knowledge Management: Staying up to date on grant trends and best practices to optimize our grant-seeking efforts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in fundraising, communication or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a grants program, with a proven track-record of researching, writing and securing philanthropic grants.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively and develop positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated self-management capabilities, with ability to work independently, flexibility to prioritise a range of competing demands and work to deadlines.
  • Outstanding administrative and time management skills, high level computer skills, attention to detail and methodologies reflected by accurate data-keeping, record management.
