Position Overview

allnex is seeking a highly skilled PSM Specialist/Lead to join our team in Wacol, QLD. As a key member of our safety and sustainability team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) practices across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain PSM procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on PSM principles and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure safe operational practices and compliance with PSM requirements.
  • Monitor and report on key safety metrics, providing insights to management and recommending continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 1-5 years of experience in Process Safety Management within the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply with related educational background.
  • Strong understanding of PSM regulations, hazard analysis techniques, and safety management systems.
  • Experience with HAZOP concepts and safety management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate safety concepts and procedures to diverse audiences.
