The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will focus on the overhaul of minor and major hydraulic and mechanical components on various equipment lines. You will have access to OEM training and opportunities for upskilling with the latest technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed, and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
- Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Mobile Plant, Fitter Machinist, or Heavy Diesel trade qualifications
- Have previous experience with the overhaul, repair, and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components
- Have an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving, and/or Construction equipment
- Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
- Hold good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
