Support Worker

There is an exciting opportunity to work with three young adults who are on the autism spectrum. The role involves providing 24 hour support and enabling individuals to live independently while enjoying a busy social life and staying connected within their local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24 hour support to enable individuals to live independently
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation and household chores
  • Support individuals in maintaining a healthy lifestyle including exercise and nutrition
  • Encourage and facilitate social interaction and participation in the community

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience working with adults with autism
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to undertake manual handling tasks
