  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu plans that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain the effective operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
  • Prepare high-quality food according to menu plans and within specified budgets, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and food safety requirements, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive and productive team environment.

**Requirements**

  • A strong passion for food and a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary cooking styles and methods.
  • Flexibility in your cooking approach to adapt to guest requests and preferences.
  • A thorough understanding of dietary and religious food requirements, ensuring that all meals are prepared and presented in accordance with these needs.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • An ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Someone with their own transport or have the ability to start at 6:30am.
