Senior Centre Operations Manager

The Senior Centre Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving excellence throughout the centre, spearheading efforts to ensure the highest standards of care, education, and engagement. This leadership position inspires teams, fostering an environment where Educators and Teachers can thrive through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities.

  • Lead daily centre operations, overseeing staffing, budgets, and communication with parents and guardians.
  • Support the development and implementation of engaging activities for children's holistic growth, tailored to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Prioritize children's safety and well-being, upholding policies and procedures while promoting a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork and diversity.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Hold a ACECQA-approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • possess at least 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • hold a current Working with Children Check.
  • exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • demonstrate effective prioritization and time management skills.
  • commit to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
