Job Description

This role involves performing and coordinating various administrative duties, especially in connection with preparing, compiling, and maintaining patient records.

The Healthcare Administrator will serve as a receptionist and communication link within a patient-care area, supporting the patient care team under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

They will assist with environmental, dietary, transportation, supplies, and light maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Medical Terminology course or equivalent.
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients/customers and understand their needs for self-respect and dignity.
  • Knowledge of computer keyboard and comfort using windows-based software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
