Job Overview

This role offers an opportunity to provide mobile, outreach, and centre-based case management support to individuals and families experiencing vulnerabilities in Townsville. You will operate from a strength based and capacity building framework, promoting social inclusion, human rights, participation, and consumer choice.



Salary Information

The hourly rate for this position is $43.09 + superannuation, with access to salary packaging options.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic assessment of client needs and develop individualized case plans;
  • Work directly with clients at risk of homelessness who have complex needs;
  • Develop effective relationships with staff and clients from diverse backgrounds;
  • Utilize strong interpersonal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders;
  • Demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft office suite;


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need sound casework experience, including assessment of client needs and development of case plans. You should also possess the ability to work competently with clients who have complex needs, as well as experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
