Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Program Coordinator to oversee the smooth operation of our production room. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize work requests, control costs, and maximize quality of work. As a Maintenance Program Coordinator, you will manage the maintenance program, including preventative maintenance, corrective works, and responding to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the maintenance program to ensure timely responses to work requests
  • Coordinating with contractors as per our contractor management plan
  • Identifying trends in regular maintenance issues and reporting to the Maintenance Manager
  • Attending to call outs and assisting in breakdowns to ensure the plant is operational throughout production on a daily basis
  • Supervising required contractors as per our contractor management plan
  • Observing current work practices and identifying areas for improvement
  • Preparing Daily Shift Reports
  • Driving continual improvement and RCA
  • Driving and participating in 5S initiatives

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Program Coordinator who enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same. You should be an excellent communicator and possess strong decision-making skills. Your ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes will see you thrive in this fast-paced role.

Requirements

  • Relevant trade certificate
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a similar position
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system
  • Experience with BMS / SCADA
  • Quality and continuous improvement focused
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to think quickly, clearly, and logically while meeting deadlines
  • Contractor management experience
  • Availability for weekends and being on call for after-hours callouts
  • Ability to drive safety in the workplace and accurate hazard identification and reporting
  • Previous experience within an FMCG production environment is desirable but not essential
