Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Property Maintenance Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and contract administration, including experience in preparing estimates and quotations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of client maintenance contracts through the preparation of office estimates and contributing to the development of the Quarterly Program of Works.
  • Issuing value for money maintenance orders and improving the performance of the property portfolio with a tenant-focused service delivery.
  • Coordinating and delivering responsive, planned, and capital maintenance programs, including vacant properties, disabled modifications, lawn and grounds cleaning, and building essential services.
  • Developing and implementing a planned program of maintenance by analyzing Property Assessment Survey (PAS) data and utilizing local knowledge to support the organization's housing portfolio property maintenance program.
  • Providing proactive and effective contract administration through the development of office estimates, attending site visits as required, and supporting negotiations with contractors regarding quotations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Post-Trade Certificate IV or equivalent qualifications in a property-related field.
  • Current working knowledge of the Australian Building Codes.
  • Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills, with experience in MS Project preferred.

Essential Requirements

Please note that post-trade certification is mandatory for this role. A current Driver's License is also required.
