As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the well-being of clients, supporting them with daily tasks, and facilitating community participation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in their daily routines, including meal preparation, personal care, and medication management.
- Assist clients in engaging with community activities, promoting social interaction and a sense of belonging.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare workers and family members, to ensure comprehensive support.
- Identify and address any emerging issues or concerns, seeking guidance when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant industry qualification (e.g., Cert III) and/or extensive experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Current driver's license, enabling safe transportation of clients.
- NDIS worker screening clearance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- NNSW working with children check or willingness to obtain.
- Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination, prioritizing client safety.
