Job Title

A highly rewarding opportunity exists for a dedicated and compassionate Assistant in Nursing to join our team at Mona Vale Hospital.

The successful applicant will provide exceptional support to the nursing team, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing support to patients, families, and carers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, medication administration, and other tasks as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
Requirements
  • Current enrolment in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
  • Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
