Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support for studio automation systems
  • Assist with live studio production and ensure seamless broadcasting
  • Maintain post-production and non-linear editing systems to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage digital assets efficiently
  • Support digital news gathering operations and troubleshoot issues promptly
  • Manage video contribution, distribution, and encoding processes
  • Troubleshoot master control facilities to minimize downtime
Requirements:
  • An engineering degree or equivalent qualification in broadcast or IT is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial
  • A flexible approach to working irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, is necessary
