Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Relieving Operator to join our operations team at the Inverell Works Centre. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the satisfactory operation of plant or vehicles on construction or maintenance work under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate road construction plant including graders, rollers, scrapers, excavators, loaders, tractors, backhoes and front-end loaders.

The successful applicant will possess a Trade Certificate in Plant Operation and hold a NSW Class HC Drivers Licence. Additionally, they will need to have a Traffic Controller Certificate or Traffic Control Work Training Card, a SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card'), and non-electrical worker accreditation for working safely near live electrical apparatus.

Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience and will be paid in line with award rates. In addition, an Adverse Working Conditions Allowance may be payable where applicable.
