Job Overview

As a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance solutions and results. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable plant and equipment are available for project operations.

Based at the Iron Bridge open-cut mine site project in Western Australia on an 8/6 rotation, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges. You will act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

  • Ensure the quality of maintenance work by overseeing, planning, and controlling all short and long-term field maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide focused and effective leadership to the Field Maintenance Supervisors, setting performance objectives and allocating appropriate resources.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance and production objectives align, ensuring comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve reliability and availability levels, managing and coordinating team's activities by allocating appropriate resources.
About You
  • Hold a Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrician.
  • Have 10+ years post-trade experience.
  • Demonstrate experience with large fleets of mobile mining machinery.
  • Have Mine System Maintenance experience.
  • Possess General Computer Skills.
  • Be Safety Focused.
  • Have Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Have Mentoring and/or coaching experience preferred.
  • Have Sound knowledge of planning and scheduling, plant availability, and preventative maintenance processes.
  • Exhibit Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
